What Love Is This?

"All Arminians consider it reasonable to tell the unbeliever that 'God has a wonderful plan for your life.' But what could this mean if a person by uncaused (indeterminate) events eventually goes to hell? How can Arminians honestly tell unbelievers that God loves them if God is not willing to do what is needed to save them? Strictly speaking, does he ultimately leave it up to them (or worse, to a randomly acting free will) whether they will finally do enought to save themselves? What kind of love is so vague and undescriminating that it leaves the eternal salvation of its beloved in the hands of an autonomous mechanism in their heads, rather than acting to secure that salvation? How can God love us if he is incompetent?"
